Day 76: 3 hoops for Red

3 hoop earrings: mildsteel and brass

Working on a batch of works for powder coating in red I have made three different shapes of hoop earrings. One is a hexagon, the other is a rectangle and the last is a circle. I have a couple of orders to be finished in August. Considering the exhibitions I am planning for Radiant Pavilion are only a month away I am working to a tight schedule. After red I need to do blue and yellow batches. I will happily get my online shop ready with more works in different price range. My business is really struggling because of the uncertainty of continues lockdown, but I will take any opportunity to present. I would like to have good plans and execution and August will be a hugely crucial month.

Even though production work is repetitive it is still exciting to make these basic geometric shaped hoop earrings. This time I will make red round hoops, which I have never tried before. Using photoshop I made the red mockup below and I think they look quite good.

빨간색 파우더코팅할 한 묶음의 작업을 준비하면서 세개의 다른 형태의 후프 귀걸이를 만들었다. 하나는 육각형이고, 다른 하나는 직사각형이며, 나머지 하나는 원 형태이다. 8월에 끝내야하는 몇개의 주문품이 있다. 래디언트 퍼빌리온을 위해서 준비하는 전시회들을 한달 남겨두고 나는 일정이 바쁘다. 빨간색 후에는 파란색 그리고 노란색의 작업을 준비해야 한다. 그리고 각기 다른 가격의 더 많은 작업들을 내 온라인 샵에 올리기 위해서 준비할 것이다. 내 비지니스는 계속 반복되는 봉쇄조치 속의 한치도 알 수 없는 불확실함 속에 힘들지만 나는 작업을 선보일 어떤 기회라도 마다하지 않을 것이다. 좋은 계획과 실행을 하고 싶으니 팔월은 아주 중요한 달이 될 것이다. 

비록 프로덕션 작업이 반복적이기는 하지만 이 기본적인 기하학적 모양의 후프 귀걸이를 만드는 것은 여전히 흥미로운 일이다. 이번에는 한번도 만들어 본적이 없는 빨간 둥근 후프를 만들 것이다. 그래서 위에 포토샵 프로그램을 사용해 빨간색의 모형을 만들었고 꽤 괜찮아 보인다.
