Day 71: Big PVC pipes recycled

I have been thinking of a couple of different ideas for the exhibition and using PVC pipes is one of them. These old and used pipes were picked up rom a construction site by my studio mate, Ann . I never knew these pipes were so big compared to my jewellery. My jewellery looks like little people in this giant PVC pipe world. I had a great morning trying many different installations with these pipes and the works I produced. Too soon to tell and decide anything yet so when this lockdown has finished I will try to collect more pipes from the site.

전시회를 위해 몇가지 전시 아이디어를 생각중인데 PVC 파이프를 사용하는 것도 그 중 하나이다. 이 오래되고 낡은 파이프들은 내 스튜디오 동료인 앤이 공사현장에서 주워온 것들이다. 나는 내가 만든 장신구에 비교해서 파이프들이 이렇게 클줄 몰랐다. 내 장신구들은 모두 PVC 거인 파이프 나라에 있는 작은 사람들처럼 보인다. 이 파이프들과 내가 만들 작품들을 가지고 나는 여러가지 다른 설치들을 해보면서 즐거운 아침을 보냈다. 아직 말하기는 혹은 결정짓기는 어렵우니 봉쇄조치가 끝나면 그 공사현장에서 좀 더 많은 파이프들을 주워와야겠다.
