Day 34: Green production

Today I am staying home to Home School my daughter. It is a lockdown week for Melbourne. Hopefully it only lasts until this Thursday but the uncertainty about the future is troubling. The good news is I have booked my first vaccination injection in two weeks, which gives me relief. The anxiety about another possible hard lockdown is alive in the communitty. Even though it has not happened yet and hopefully everything is under control I have one question. Why is there no Federal rules for the vaccination and restriction under the current pandemic? Even though there was so many lives lost in aged care in Melbourne last year during there are still workers and residents in the Federal government and private age care that are not protected from the virus infection properly. I learned the independency of each state government is very efficient in a big continental country like Australia but for a better nation disaster management we have to hold the Commonwealth government accountable.

오늘 나는 딸아이의 가정학습을 위해서 집에 머물러 있다. 멜버른의 봉쇄조치가 내려진 주이기 때문이다. 이 조치가 이번 목요일까지만 지속되기를 바라지만 미래에 대한 불안한 마음이 늘 문제이다. 좋은 소식은 2주후 내 처음 백신 주사가 예약되었고 나에게 일말의 안도감을 준다는 것이다. 그러나 지금보다 더 심한 봉쇄조치가 내려질 수도 있다는 생각에 불안초조한 마음은 그대로이다. 아직 일어나지도 않았고 모든 것이 곧 만사가 순조롭기를 바라지만 왜 이런 팬데믹 시대에 백신이나 제한조치가 범 연방단위의 규칙으로 다스려지지 않는지 의문으로 남는다. 작년 멜버른의 봉쇄조치 때 우리는 노인요양기관의 수많은 목숨들을 바이러스로 잃었음에도 불구하고 여전히 연방정부나 사설 요양기관의 직원이나 수용된 노인들은 바이러스 감염으로부터 적절한 보호를 받고 있지 못하고 있다. 주정부의 독립성이 호주 같이 큰 대륙국가에는 아주 효율적이라고 배웠지만 더 나은 국가재난관리를 위해 연방정부가 나서서 국가적으로 관리해야하며 더 강력하고 중요한 책임감을 발휘해야한다. 

위의 두 이미지는 초록색으로 파우더코팅 하기 전과 후의 내 작업들이다. 이번에 내 파우더 코팅을 도맡아 해준 사람은 아주 훌륭했다. 그래서 몇가지 주문과 빠진 품목들을 채울 수 있을 것이다.
