Day74 : Work 74. "Bricked in" pendant.
This is my posting on Instagram.

Red brick wall pendant. (Need better name for it though;) I love the pattern of this perforated sheet and think it is a good idea of this color combination, red and white as it looks close to red brick wall. Can I say it is representational abstract? (Ive been reading about it obviously). Bleached silver and white enamel spray paint on the surface to stop silver oxidized too easily. (See how it goes). 3(w)x 4(h)x 1(d) cm. I appreciate mycelium studio is not closed yet and we (studio 24) can still create things hard in this crazy time. Hope you all stay safe and keep making. ❤️💪 #redandwhite #brick#brickwall #powdercoated #jinahjo#architecture #constructed#deconstructed #melbournejeweller#artjewelry #schmuck#handmadejewellery#contemporaryjewellery #pendant#necklace #금속공예 #예술장신구 #목걸이18h

@jinahjojewellery. Bricked In. Climbing the walls. Brick distancing....??
So I was really appreciated a couple of responses about the title of this work, which I didn’t quite expect as these days I don’t think I have as many likes or hates as I used to get on my Instagram post.
We are definitely living in a strange world, which we have never experienced before. I remember my late parents used to talk about how it was like on those days of Korean War and their real life experiences. I guess if they were alive more insights would have been inputted but very sadly it is impossible now for me.
However, I have found one interesting book, “Abstract Art in the Late Twentieth Century” By Frances Colpitt . I would love to read. Should I go to the local bookstore possibly risking myself to expose to the virus or just order online and wait for it to come forever?
Again However, if I need to stay home some day as everything is forced to be closed reading this book should be one of those activities I will be enjoying.
