Day 75 : Work 75. Necklace component

Planning for making a big necklace is always fascinating. While all the components are being made I can experiment with all possible related forms and technically any different attempt to fulfil the one whole can be tested.
A couple of examples are these below over many years.

“Freestyle” necklace components. 2018-2019
These two examples were made quite intensively for a month or so in the years 2016 and 2018 respectively. It was long and exhausting process but the degree of concentration was very high and I was really contented with the outcome.
At the moment honestly at the studio I am all over the place. Without any control from our won hands, reach, thoughts and insights the situation all over the world is in is quite stressful and unpredictable.
This time of our life when we are not able to have and enjoy the life we used to have due to COVID-19 outbreak it is quite hard to go to the studio and focus on what I normally do in daily basis. Now all the galleries my works are represented have closed their physical venues and turned into online. My normal day routine at the studio was working on orders, controlling stocks, writing the process and enjoying the excitement of creating something new for possible or planned exhibitions. I am trying deadly hard not to make myself collapse into the deep hole where I cannot control anything physically and psychologically.
I am thinking that the world has just stopped for a while not been destructed.
I guess for a while my ideas and works will be all over the place but unless the studio is completely locked down with an elevated degree of national emergency (hope it won’t happen) I am still making and that mindfulness is important quality of my practice.
