Day86 : Work 86. 3 Prototypes for new rings

For the last couple of weeks I have made 3 new ring designs. It has been such satisfying process and outcome and I think I am quite proud for myself to keep creating Jin Ah Jo originals that show who I am. Definitely there has been creative spark and it was another example for me to be assured that there are always much more things happen once I get into the workshop and push myself. In the process of touching and handling materials I can visualise and realise the fictional and imaginary form into substantial form combined with factual possibilities.

The process: Firstly I chose 2 different sizes of round perforated sheets, cut them into a strip each then combined them together by soldering. Secondly I made this combined strip into a ring. Lastly I sandblaster for better visualisation. At last I am looking for a chance to transfer them into 3D files to print out.

The mission in here I need to make something irreplaceable which will really show the unique personality. I think whenever I place myself at the workshop and push myself a little more I can get the specific opportunity to implement meaning as a maker, artist and a human being.
