Day 27 : Work 27. Vacate the form but grow your story.
When I got back from Sydney this job was waiting for me. After the intensive, challenging but fully mindful one week I became light and happy inside. It is not sort of affirmation that “everything is going to be fine” but understanding the principle and now it is really up to me to practice it.
However, the job awaiting was reducing 2 sizes down for a ring. This is the very first ring meaningful for me to try something different from the works I had been working on with steel. The target market was clear and the series was designed for the wearers to build their own story with the rings by interlocking them each other. Half of the clients who had bought my rings came back to buy another ring from the collection , which made me so pleased. People love stories and listening to them exceptionally with rings gives me the inspiration and broaden my notion of emotional quality of jewellery.
I am still looking for and enjoying the space I created by making form. Why do I make forms? To create space connected to the body. However, I am slowly moving onto the next level-vacate the form slowly and fill it with space.
