Day4: Work 4. From the off-cut to a piece

The hexagon perforated mild steel series of my works all started from the moment I collected some samples and off-cuts of mild steel from the suppliers where they sell architectural and industrial perforation sheets.

This shape of perforation was collected many many years ago and I haven’t found the way I can apply into my design.

It was so much fun today as my many years artistic rule “Form follows function. Function follows form” was also accommodated into this piece.

More length of chains will be added. The colour has not been decided yet. Green? Purple? or Red even?
