Day 62 : Work 62. Gold for Christmas

Day 62 : Work 62. Gold for Christmas

I have made several samples exploring the patterns of perforations with mildsteel. They are circles, squares and hexagons. I have asked LTH to make mould and cast them with 9k gold. When I made these originals in mildsteel after cleaning up with sandblasting they all look perfect so that I missed some relatively deep lines on the surface. A lot of cleaning process involved but I love the patterns and shapes to be used in many different ways.

When the creativity kicks its way I will simply enjoy making out of all the odds.

I made this one as original for mould but I think I need to make them again as all the scratches and lines inside the hexagon shape. Learn good thing!!
